HAMANN added the Porsche Macan – the small shooting star from Zuffenhausen – to its individualisation programme. PORSCHE MACAN TUNING BY HAMANN

The tiger “Macan” seems ready to jump when looking at the elegant new front spoiler including lowering from HAMANN. The new aerodynamics attachment gives the SUV an own, individual character and, however, only is the prelude which is coherently continued in powerfully shaped wing extensions. Thus, the Macan’s body grows by remarkable twelve centimetres in width, making it appear no less powerful than its big Porsche brother Cayenne. On the side, the aerodynamically optimised side skirts complete the self-confident appearance.

The Porsche Macan then flexes its steel muscles to the back with a dynamic composite design trim and the sharpened rear spoiler. That fits perfectly and is adequately communicated by the according sound package. The rear trim panel hides the mighty “active sound” sports exhaust system. The four bulky tailpipes with a diameter of 101 millimetres and black ceramic coating produce a hissing V8 sound. An effect achieved by actuators and speakers to compose an individual sound experience.

Well, but a strong sound is not enough for HAMANN’s turbo tuning experts. Hence they offer a small control module (chip tuning) to optimise the performance. Instead of the standard 258 hp, the module pushes the V6 turbo diesel engine to 310 hp and increases the torque to 670 Newton metres at 2 500 rpm already. In terms of acceleration, this add-on brings the car to 100 km/h within 5.7 seconds, together with the standard Sport Chrono Package. Without chip tuning, the Porsche Macan S Diesel accomplishes this print in 6.3 seconds.

However, power is nothing without performance. HAMANN therefore adapts the Porsche Macan S Diesel to the new output. Sport springs that lower the car by up to 40 millimetres make the car dynamically hug the road and ensure optimal road contact.

TUNING PARTS FOR THE PORSCHE MACAN

HAMANN recommends its exclusive “Anniversary EVO” wheels in size 10.5 J x 22. The heavy-duty wheel in multi-spoke design confidently brings the four-wheel drive car’s power to the road. Its helper: the high-performance Vredestein UltracVorti tyre. Fitted in the size 295/30 ZR22, it fulfils the tuner’s high requirements in terms of cornering, grip during acceleration and deceleration, and steering precision. For the car’s interior, the refiner also comes up with something very special.

For example, the exclusive tufted velour mats with nubuck border and double contrast stitching and a silver embroidered HAMANN lettering. If desired, HAMANN adds black or silver anodised alloy applications for the pedals and footrest. And a special highlight – in the truest sense of the word – are the car door LED welcome projector lights with the HAMANN emblem. The team refines new or already registered cars at the company’s headquarters in Laupheim as well as at international partner sites.
